The American Scientific Affiliation is a fellowship of Christians who are professional scientists. Their website contains many helpful resources including FAQs, book reviews, blogs, and more.


 
The Canadian Scientific and Christian Affiliation is "group of men and women with a common interest in science and a common allegiance to the Christian Faith." Their website includes numerous links to other groups.

 
Christians in Science is a British affiliation of scientists who share the common bond of Christian faith. It includes an on-line journal, some of whose articles are downloadable.
 


 
The Metanexus Institute promotes "constructive engagement of science, religion and the humanities in the communal pursuit of wisdom in order to address humanity’s most profound questions and challenges."


 

Science and Spirit magazine "explores the relationship between science and religion in the context of our everyday lives." Their website includes on-line articles.

 
The Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences pursues three program areas: research, teaching and public service. It is associated with the Graduate Theological Union in the San Francisco Bay area.

 

The International Society for Science & Religion seeks to promote " education through the support of inter-disciplinary learning and research in the fields of science and religion conducted where possible in an international and multi-faith context."

 

THE INSTITUTE ON RELIGION

The Institute on Religion in an Age of Science is "a non-denominational, independent society" that seeks to "formulate dynamic and positive relationships between the concepts developed by science and the goals and hopes of humanity expressed through religion."
 
The Zygon Center for Religion and Science is located at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. "It is dedicated to relating religious traditions and the best scientific knowledge in order to gain insight into the origins, nature, and destiny of humans and their environment."

 

 
The Ian Ramsey Centre was "founded in 1985 for the study of religious beliefs in relation to the sciences and medicine, is a part of the Theology Faculty in the University of Oxford."
 
  Reasons to Believe is an "international and interdenominational religion-science think tank."
 
  The Institute for Creation Research is one of the leading resources for information representing and advancing the Creationist perspective. It also includes more general articles on the relationship between faith and science.
 
 

Meaningful Science is a ministry devoted to educating the world about the Christian heritage of modern science through study of the history and philosopy of science. The website contains links to numerous articles.

  The Christian Neuroscience Society is "a group of Christians who are interested in furthering the dialogue between neuroscience and the truth of the Christian faith."
 
  Counterbalance is a web-based journal offering "new views on complex issues from science, ethics, philosophy, and religion." Detailed and thoughtful articles are presented on a range of issues relevant to this course.
 
  The Christian Association for Psychological Studies is an interdenominational Christian organization that "encourages in depth consideration of therapeutic, research, theoretical and theological issues" related to the field of psychology.
 
  Origins is a resource for information about the theory of "Intelligent Design." It supports the view that "the universe and life show verifiable signs of intelligent creation because there is an intelligent Creator."
     
  The Access Research Network website is a clearinghouse for "accessible information on science, technology, and society from an intelligent design perspective."
 
  The Perspectives on Theistic Evolution website offers "an explanation of the middle ground known as Theistic Evolution, as well as why it is a rational theory. An examination of both the theological and scientific perspectives are provided, as well as resources for further research on the topic."

  The Association of Christians in the Mathematical Sciences seeks to link Christian mathematicians who seek "to integrate their faith with their academic discipline."
 
  The Evangelical Environmental Network website provides resources for Christians who care about God's creation.
 
Care of Creation   Care of Creation is a Christian organization with locations in both Kenya and the United States. It seeks to "awaken and mobilize the Church to care for God’s creation."
